I am proud to announce some progress in my group project. Recently, we have tested out RS232 communications between embedded controller to prototype board and all works great.. I am happy with the results and moving forward. I have also wrap up the final coding of the servo pan/tilt verilog codes.

A new spring quarter.. hooray! (april fools) Anyways, there are several things needed to get done this quarter such as my team project. The project completion day is May 20th, which is the day of the symposium. This project is funded by NASA/JPL and the objective is to design a prototype similar to the mars rovers that is capable of autonomous navigation. My main tasks that is due in two weeks are:
- to design using Verilog to control camera pan/tilt mount.
- to start testing the controller using an FPGA board
